I have about twenty different photo editors on my iPad Air 2. This is my favorite. I can easily clean up almost any mistake in shooting- lighting, color, etc. I love the abilities offered by this app.

This too does so very much. If is fast and does what it advertises. Much appreciated tool.

Im a old lawyer that plays with photos and graphics for my grandkids. This program enables me to "outcool" my grandkids! Very deep, very intuitive.etc. bob Geissler

Hasnt been updated in over a year. Needs a new UI with iOS 9 support and IPad pro specific support as well. Id pay again for a new version with these features. Theres still nothing else on the App Store like it that allows you to edit directly in and out of your iCloud Photo Library.

...And Ive bought a lot of apps that I love. But I use Photogene for just about every pic I take. In fact, I credit Photogene for the enormous growth in my instagram account, @sky1ron. I went from 2k followers to over 75K after switching to Photogene. So easy to use and the results are miraculous. Someones face in the shadows? Photogene can bring it out. Pic tilted? Photogene can straighten it. Colors muted? Photogene can make them pop. At one point, several versions ago, Photogene seemed to break down on me. I contacted the author who personally responded. Turned out to be an easy fix....youve got a great app and someone behind it who really is there for you. Best app I ever bought!

I use Photogene 98% of the time when Im editing a photo. Whether on my iPhone or my iPad photo Gene will easily do what most people need when editing a picture.

I just bought this app and started using it right I had to 1st edit my raw images after uploading to my iPad and before using Photogene to resize and upload to Flickr. If I didnt adjust the exposure first before putting them through Photogene the images would be a weird dark color. Perhaps this would not happen if jpg images. All in all I was happy to find this app to use while I was traveling!

I have been using Photogene for as long as Ive had an iPhone. Thousands of images and several versions later, I still use it nearly daily!

Photogene has been an amazing app from its very first version, and has become easier to use with each iteration. The Only drawback is that one can no longer edit photos in Landscape mode. I still discover new features after years of satisfied use and the new effects filters in this 4th edition are fantastic!

hi Omer Shoor. THANK YOU for making an app that processes raw. my Sony raw files typically open just fine, and it has many useful features, but with the iPad pro I am searching for a reliable app for processing my photos in a mobile environment. I believe that someday soon ALL photo editing will be possible with a tablet without ever having to use a desktop. currently, Adobe does not offer a solution that reliably edits OR processes raw natively. Photogene4 does though. and it could be the first to really make native raw edits on iPad doable. but the experience is lacking. it sorely needs a way to recover highlights. it would also be nice if it allowed for copying edits from one photo to another. I realize that the developers of most apps like this are a small team, but I would be willing to pay more for a pro version of photo gene if it made some of these features possible. it would also be super amazing if somehow X-Rites color chart technology could be incorporated. I believe they have opened up APIs that allow that to be used to calibrate color in apps, Cam Ranger uses it. is it possible also to upgrade the max import/export size? with cameras being released with max resolutions of 24-36 megapixels, this would really improve my work through your app.

Works great as needed when a laptop isnt around. Fantastic and worth the price!

As all-purpose photo editors go, Photogene4 (whatever version really) is my pick for top of the heap. It simply does everything and it does it well. It handles the strange Apple photo library issues as best as possible and allows you to share your edited pics in a huge number of ways. I could go on but at this price you should just buy it and see for yourself. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Im not a savvy photoshop, so this is perfect for me.

Ive tried lots of phone apps for adjusting photos. This one is my first choice for basic fixes as well as some fun fiddling. It doesnt do everything but enough that I keep coming back to it.

Easy to play use and understand, so I use it most often.

This app keeps crashing. I have an iPad Air 2 with 128 GB. The developer hasnt updated the app since September 18, 2014, (which is a year and a half ago, as of this writing) so it seems that he abandoned it. Im going to abandon it, too: deleting.

Well designed image editor, but it seems to be no longer supported. Even worse, I had Photogene2, but when I upgraded iOS it no longer worked. I was going to upgrade the app but found that there is no more Photogene2 in the app store. There is a Photogege4 which is the same app but updated for newer iOS. So to keep using the app I had to buy it AGAIN!! Tried contacting the developer but no response. Hes moved on to better things now.

Way behind Apple, think they took their money and ran. Still good app, one of my favorites, but slow as molasses on a frigid day.
